Added 4/23/2022She comes after the births of Joseph (1888), Concetta (1891) and Rosie (1894). On the 1900 Federal Census, recorded 4 months before the birth of the next child (Mildred), Carmela reported she had given birth to five children but only three were still living at the time. That would be Joseph, Concetta and Rosie. Little Petronilla must have been one of the two who died, but that still leaves another unaccounted for. This may also explain the six year gap between the births of Rosie and Mildred.
I have been unable to determine when Petronilla died.
