Jim and Eve Lanzaro Family Photos
Added 3/25/2022
This is a collection of photos I received from Joann Silk in June of 2015. Joann's husband is the nephew (on the Murray side) of Anne T. Murray Lanzaro (1922-2012), the wife of Frank C. Lanzaro, Sr. (1920-1977).
Frank was the son of Vincent (Jim) Lanzaro (1890-1945) and Evelyn (Eve) Manley (1889-1961).
Several years ago, I was in contact with Anne regarding her husband's side of the Lanzaro family tree. We corresponded several times by mail, but eventually lost contact with one another.
One thing I found out from Anne was that she and Frank had one son, Frank C. Lanzaro, Jr. (1945-1973), who died at a tragically young age, four years before his father.
When Anne died in 2012, Joann found the photos and other documents in her effects, including my letters. Eventually, she was able to track me down and sent me this wonderful treasure trove.
Although I have never personally met any of these cousins, I have tried to identify each one using the few notations shown on some of the photos.
Besides Jim, Eve, Frank and Anne, there were also two beautiful photos of cousin Madeline DeGennaro, who became Sister Ann Louise in 1939.
Madeline was the daughter of Anna Lanzaro DeGennaro (1889-1977), Jim's sister. She died March 31, 2020 at the age of 102.
In March of 2022, cousin Ken Falzarano sent me a film clip of Madeline's initiation celebration with several family members in attendance. Click
