Bob Boyd and Charles Lindbergh
Lindbergh was doing a barnstorming tour and landed on a farmer's field in Arkansas near the home of Bob Boyd. His mother told Bob and his brother they "better get down there".
Bob is the boy on the right. He was born in Lowell, Arkansas in 1926. So, he's maybe 5 in the photo (1931). The other boy is his brother Eddie Ray Golden.
The farmer is, presumably, the owner of the field where Lindbergh landed.
Lindbergh's solo flight across the Atlantic was 1927; the kidnapping of his son in 1932.
Bob grew up to marry Leona LaMura in 1959.
