Her middle name, Nunziata, is from her grandmother, Annunziata di Lorenzo Durante. Mary's mother, Rose, was supposedly born in Florida. Here it says New Jersey.
The original birth certificate misspelled Durante as Duranto. Here, Mary has requested a correction in 1970, two years before she died.
