Eugene Blanck and Emma Behrens Marriage Record Index

Blauk is Blanck. The Federal Census shows that Eugene and Emma both arrived in America in 1881, so a marriage in Manhattan in August of that year is possible. The Census also says Eugene was born April 1858, which would make him 23 in August 1881, close enough to 24. Emma was born April 1860, which would make her 22, exactly as it says on the marriage index. On most documents, Eugene claimed he was born in Alsace-Lorraine. This index says Oberehenhessie, Elsasz. I haven't been able to identify Oberehenhessie, but Elsasz is the German name for Alsace-Lorraine.
