Ciro and Catello LaMura were business partners in the Elk Bottling Works, originally located in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn at 590 President Street, then moved here in Red Hook.The following legal notice was placed in the New York Daily Star newspaper in 1904.
Between 1939 and 1941, New York City photographed every building in the five boroughs for tax purposes.
