Adolph operated a big laundry business in New York, owned by brothers Joe and Mike Spadaro, called Rex Laundry. It was here at 2702 Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn. Adolph once took my father there to show him how it worked.
In the 1939 newspaper article below, Mike Spadaro was murdered outside the laundry.
