154 Conover Street
Tax Photo Circa 1940
This was the home of Petronilla, Ciro and Louisa from 1905 to 1909.
They moved here when their son Joe was just a baby.
Their other sons, Larry and Cat were born here.
Between 1939 and 1941, New York City photographed every building in the five boroughs for tax purposes.
This photo of the building at 154 Conover Street is from that collection.
Obviously, a very timely photo as I'm sure it was torn down soon after.
