Serracapriola
Not a lot of information to be found about Serracapriola, but several interesting photos.
The town is located in the province of Foggia and is part of the Gargano National Park.
It sits on a hill 890 feet above sea level.
Current population is around 4,000.
It is 8 miles from the Adriatic coast, 15 miles from Santa Croce di Magliano, and 50 miles from Vico del Gargano.

The following photos were taken by photographer Silvia Tamburrelli in 2011, with the following caption: I think these houses are inhabited, perhaps there was an attempt to place the properties on the market a few years ago,
but there were conflicts of interest and all worked out in nothing. The district is historical, but unfortunately most of the houses around there, the church and other buildings have been damaged by an earthquake a few years ago
and never restored. There is no money, the City has none, the owners do not have the sensitivity or the money and so everything has been left since then. Houses in particular may end up further damaged by seasonal migrants
who illegally employ them as a base to work in the fields all summer.
