Spring 1939

My mother told me about this photo several years ago, but I conveniently neglected to write it down. On the back of the photo someone wrote "Spring 1939." It's a shower for someone, maybe? I don't know where the photo was taken. Starting on the left, It's Babe Phelan (age 28), Evelyn Lanzaro (32), someone who looks familiar to me in the middle, Phil Lanzaro (25), and my mother, Ann Cannizzaro (17). If anyone can add further details to this, please let me know.

August 2016 - Maryann Ward Downs thinks this might be the shower for her mother, Adelaide Nori Ward. Maryann was born September 1939.
